13 Reasons Why: After a teenage girl’s perplexing suicide, a classmate receives a series of tapes that unravel the mystery of her tragic choice.
I was one of many people that binge watched this show when it was first released on Netflix. This controversial series follows a teenager as he uncovers the reasons why a friend took her life. As a mother of three with one entering middle school in the fall, this series really hit home. Life has changed significantly for teenagers since my days in school and it was a great eye opener for things I will need to pay attention to as my children get older. Whether you are a parent or not, I believe that many young adults and older can take away some lessons from this eye opening series.
