The holidays can be such a busy and stressful time, especially if you are a procrastinator like me and wait until the last minute to get things done! However, I believe it is important to take a moment for me during the busy holiday season. The last thing I want is to get overwhelmed, so making sure I take care of myself is very important. Thankfully Nature’s Bounty® is here to help busy women find balance and their very own me time during the holidays. With Nature’s Bounty® Earthly Elements™ 100% pure and blended aromatherapy essential oils, you can find an affordable way to pamper yourself.
I have been using essential oils for awhile now, for both our home and DIY cosmetic products. Essential oils can set moods and enhance the smell of your home, bath, and office. When used in an aromatherapy diffuser, all you have to do is add some essential oils to it and your home will be filled with it. You can also add a few drops to your bath for a spa-like experience, or mix with a carrier oil for massages. Each and every single essential oil has its very own unique aroma and “personality,” just like people, so everyone’s “me time” is their own. There are 10 essential oils and 1 Sweet Almond carrier oil, as well as a Nature’s Bounty® Earthly Elements™ aromatherapy diffuser. Lavender, Peppermint and Eucalyptus are the most popular scents in the line as well as Sweet Almond carrier oil to mix and use on skin topically. All of the oils are indeed pure, however Jasmine and Chamomile are considered blends as they include Sweet Almond oil. A few other essential oils that i really enjoy are lemongrass, grapefruit, rosemary, patchouli and thrive!
Essential oils are so easy to find these days and Nature’s Bounty® Earthly Elements™ is actually available at Walmart stores everywhere. Earthly Elements™ are also really great for holiday gifting and it allows you to give the gift of “me time” to that special person in your life. If you are considering gifting someone some essential oils, I highly recommend the very popular Lavender Gift Set and Eucalyptus Gift Set.
Essential oils are the extracted oil from plants and can be used in a variety of ways. The oil from the plants are known to have traditional usages for various aromatherapy needs that incorporate the mind and body. Here are some tips down below to help you get started!
Today I wanted to take some time to share with you a way you can pamper yourself and spend some time during the busy holidays. One way I do this with essential oils is to create a moisturizing massage oil for my skin by combining them with Sweet Almond carrier oil. Since this is probably your first time blending oils, I want to use a simple and easy recipe for you to recreate. I am going to use the eucalyptus essential oil and blend with the sweet almond oil (you are going to need a dropper for this one.)
You are going to want to use 1 drop of eucalyptus for every 4 drops of almond oil.
Now this is by far one of the best ways to moisturize your skin during the colder months, I just love how smooth and non oily my skin feels after! This is such a simple and fun way to spoil yourself and get in some me time. If you are more advanced with essential oils then you already know you can blend multiple essential oils to create different massage oils. This is quite addicting once you start blending oils and creating with essential oils, a healthy and fun hobby. I hope this has encouraged you to find some time to care for yourself because doing so is important!
