My Review

Subscription box services are one of the best ways to discover new and exciting products that you have not yet heard of. I recently discovered Silly Rhino, which offers a monthly box that contains environmentally conscious toys, books, accessories and gear for children ages 0-4.  We had the pleasure of receiving the baby box which contained a great assortment of high quality products. I was completely shocked at all of the full sized products included in the box and even more surprised upon discovering that one of the items was $30 alone.

There were a couple businesses that I was introduced to through this box and I am so thrilled to have discovered them. Natural Earth Paint is a company that I know I will purchase from again and would not have otherwise known about if not for Silly Rhino. The natural egg dye came just in time for Easter decorating and I can not wait to try it out with the kids. I was also ecstatic about the shaped soap from LoveLee Soaps, this chick is simply divine. Not only does it smell absolutely amazing, but it’s also safe enough for my little ones to use at bath time. My youngest recently tried a fruit pouch and was not in favor of it at all. He was a huge fan of the Peter Rabbit one and even asked me, while eating it, if I remembered that “yucky” one he had the other day. You can always count on your three year old to give the most honest opinion on a food product, that’s for sure!

Since having my last child, there has been this big frenzy over the amber necklaces and I was so excited to see one arrive in the box! This was something that I had already planned on purchasing for the new baby. However, I was so overwhelmed with the amount of websites that offered them and wasn’t quite sure where I should purchase it from. Silly Rhino has already done that research for me and provided one that is from a trusted company. I can not wait to put this on the baby when she is born, I have heard such great things about them.

Spiral Jambonos the Pig has to be my favorite item from the box and was the first thing I noticed. This is a very nice quality toy with an abundance of features to stimulate baby’s senses. Even my two oldest children found it completely fascinating, so you can only imagine how great this will be for baby.

Overall I was very impressed with the Silly Rhino box and believe they provided some very high quality products for me to discover. This is well worth it to me and I highly recommend it to all the moms out there with little ones, I promise you will enjoy discovering new products just as much as I did!

Baltic Amber Necklace by Crunchy in Cowtown:

Baltic amber has been used for thousands of years for pain and inflammation relief. This amber contains an oil called succinic acid, and it is believed that this soaks into the skin and works as a natural analgesic. This has been known to help with teething symptoms such as irritability, drooling, diaper rash and pain. These necklaces are manufactured using authentic Baltic amber in Lithuania, and are sold by a WAHM company in Texas. These particular necklaces are unpolished, but both polished and unpolished necklaces are effective in relieving teething pain. Each bead is individually knotted in between, to ensure that should the necklace break there is a reduced choking hazard. It also has a screw clasp that is designed to break with pressure. Despite these safety measures, Crunchy in Cowtown recommends that you never put your child to sleep or leave them unattended for long periods of time wearing anything around their neck.
