Just three months ago I gave birth to my third baby naturally and I must say that I am quite proud to say that I was able to do that three times successfully! It is so empowering knowing that I was able to rely on only myself to bring three beautiful children into the world without any interventions (specially since all three of them ranged from 8-9lbs.) Pushing those large babies out has somewhat diminished my ability to hold my bladder and I am not ashamed to say that I suffer from light bladder leakage. This is undoubtedly something that all mothers deal with and it takes time and lots of kegles to get our body back to where is was prior to childbirth. Just the other day I was playing with my four year old son on on trampoline and we were having so much fun. Both of us were jumping away and laughing so hard we could barely breathe. Sadly my laughing became so intense that it brought on my light bladder leakage. I could have jumped on the trampoline for an hour longer with my son, but sadly had to run off to the bathroom and get changed. The only positive thing about that situation was that I was at home and could easily get changed, how embarrassing I would have been had this happened while we were out in public! The first thing I thought to myself was that I really needed to get working on my kegle exercises because light bladder leakage was now taking me away from that precious time I could have spend with my children.
