Summer is officially over here in Georgia and my 4th grader hopped onto the bus this morning for her very first day of school. I have to say that this was the least stressful year when it came to school shopping and I have Walmart to thank for that! How you ask? Because I was able to get each and every single item that my daughter needed for school all in one convenient location. This post is dedicated to helping you achieve a stress free back to school shopping trip as a share a few tips and tricks that worked for me. My first bit of advice to you is to show up at an odd hour, going around dinner or lunch time is always best. Showing up on the weekend during the day is going to guarantee that you will be elbow to elbow with other parents doing their back to school shopping. My next bit of advice is making sure you have an organized list. Thankfully Walmart has a convenient display at the entrance with all of your local schools back to school supplies list! Walmart has the aisles set up so you can easily find everything you need, there was literally not a single item I could not find on my daughter’s supply list.

One of the many many reasons I love my daughter’s school is that they are always informing parents of the simple ways we can help raise funds for the school. Each year they raise a significant amount of money from box tops. During our back to school shopping drip I grabbed Kleenex 3pack bundle for my daughter’s class, this is something teachers are always requesting donations for! In the same area I grabbed a Scott Extra Soft Bath Tissue 30 Double Roll with Double Box Tops (4+4=8) so I could help my daughter’s class get started on their Box Top collection this year! Even the Scott Towels 6 Mega Roll contained the Double Box Tops, how amazing right!?

Getting back into the school routine after summer is always a hard adjustment and I am constantly hearing parents complaining about how hectic school shopping is. My final bit of advice for you is to not wait until the last minute because I promise, you are not the only one! It’s like the week before Christmas in every aisle and by the time you get there supplies are scattered all of the place and mixed together. Get a head start on your shopping to ensure everything you need is in stock and in its proper place, the last thing you want is to have to stop at more than one store to complete your shopping. I hope this post was helpful to you and that your child(ren) have an amazing and wonderful time heading back to school. I wanted to share a picture from this morning when my daughter was waiting for the school bus, she is officially a 4th grader! How To Achieve A Stress Free Back To School Shopping Trip #BTSLikeABoss
