Heart Felt Products Review
A special thanks to Heart Felt for providing the Miss Frugal Mommy blog with their products for free in exchange for an honest review!
Heart Felt offers an array of products that support my green and semi-crunchy lifestyle. You all know how much I love to wear my new baby girl and I was extremely excited to try out their baby wrap carrier, a comfortable and simple way to engage in attachment parenting with your baby. Wearing my baby in a wrap was something I did almost 90% of the time when she was first born and I could not be more pleased with the wonderful bonding experience we had. Now that she has gotten a bit older (four months older to be exact) I am able to try out new positions with her in the wrap.
As an experienced baby wearing mama, I can tell you that this is a very great wrap to work with and perfect for new moms. What makes it so nice is that it only contains 5% spandex and 95% organic cotton. This means the fabric is going to be a bit less stretchy than many of the wraps out there, which will make it significantly easier for moms just learning how to wear their baby.
I had such a hard time with stretchier wraps when I was first learning how to wear my baby and My baby always ended up sagging to far low in it. The Heart Felt wrap gives your more control and you will find that your baby will not sag in it and will maintain the same position for hours. I have had a great experience using this wrap and highly recommend it to moms out there looking for a wrap to wear their baby with!
We have a house full of people with sensitive skin and eczema, which means I am extremely careful with what I use when washing our clothes. I stopped using any sort of fabric softeners many years ago and made the switch to dryer balls. Not only do these things last FOREVER… but they offer several other benefits as well. When your clothes are in the dryer, the balls are going to bounce around and separate the clothes, this is going to allow them to dry faster and ultimately reduce the amount of time they need to be in the dryer. As mentioned previously, these dryer balls are going to last for a very long time and that means you will save money. If you are worried about sacrificing the beautiful scents of fabric softeners, that is not a problem because you can add such things as lavender oil to the dryer balls to give your clothes a refreshing scent.
I just love using the Heart Felt Dryer Balls with a load of my daughter’s muslin swaddles, they always come out super soft and I have the reassurance of knowing that they don’t contain any harsh chemicals that are found in dryer sheets and fabric softeners!
The Squish Delish are yet another fantastic product from Heart Felt that is going to save you both time and money, while allowing you to be ecofriendly. My children are always begging my to buy those yogurt and apple sauce pouches at the store, but I just cant bring myself to spend that much money just because it’s already in the pouches. Instead I will buy a large container of yogurt and applesauce at the fraction of the cost and fill the squish delish reusable pouches. This saves a sobstantial amount of money and with a family of five, I am always look for ways to cut the cost of our grocery bill. These are also really easy to use and are simple to clean, the ideal alternative to the store bought pouches!
