I visited the Dollar Store this past week and found these large plastic ornaments for sale plus a ton of ornament fillers. This was such a fun craft to do with my kids and was especially great to do with a toddler. We typically use glass ornaments for DIY each year, but with four kids a lot of them have broken over the years. I was so excited when I discovered these plastic ones, plus they are larger than the traditional ornaments so the kids get fill them with plenty of good stuff. This is a great family tradition that we look forward to each year!
