About the Costume

“The Child Butterfly Princess Costume is one of those Halloween costumes that you’re little girl will never want to take off! It features a dress in bold autumn colors and has a black faux lace up bodice over a short sleeve white peasant top with black trim. There are layers of fabric in the skirt, and a layer of black tulle with white polka dots that adds fullness underneath the skirt. Black bows with white polka dots adorn this dress and make the butterfly princess costume one that you’re little girl will absolutely adore. She’ll flitter and flutter around in this princess butterfly costume combines the look of a beautiful, colorful butterfly, with the sparkle and twinkle of a princess. Costumes also include an antenna headband and a beautiful pair of multicolored butterfly wings.”

My Review

Anyone with a daughter will tell you that dressing up in costumes is an all year activity, not just dedicated to Halloween. My daughter has always loved playing dress up and I love taking advantage of the off season Halloween sales to stock up on adorable and fun costumes! Speaking of Halloween sales, did you know that Costume Discounters offers an impressive collection of costumes (for all ages) and they are currently having some amazing sales! My daughter had the opportunity to review the gorgeous Butterfly Princess Costume and I must say, this was far nicer than I had anticipated. I have been bringing my children costume shopping for many years now, so I have a good idea of the quality the costumes usually are. The costumes we buy from the Halloween stores never seem to last long and unfortunately end up in the trash sooner than I would have liked. I had expected this butterfly costume to be of the same quality, but I quickly realized, once my daughter put it on, that this was very well made! Certainly a costume that my daughter will have a blast dressing up in all summer long as it’s her favorite critter at the moment!

This wings fit perfectly and they were not flimsy at all. My daughter has had several costumes that included wings and they were very floppy… one wing always flipping over to the other side. The wings that came with this costume were quite impressive, vibrant in color and sturdy.

The matching antennas are the best accessory for this costume and really comfortable to wear, they didn’t cause my daughter any discomfort.

Overall I was extremely impressed with this butterfly costume, the quality is superb and something that my daughter will be able to enjoy until she outgrows it. The colors are just stunning and makes this such a unique and special costume. My daughter has really enjoyed playing in the yard with it, as well as running some errands with me while proudly wearing it. It’s a bedtime battle to convince her to take it off at night and put her pajamas on because she loves the costume that much! I highly recommend you visit the Costume Discounters for not only your Halloween needs, but also for your kid’s dress up attire!
