I remember it as if it were yesterday, my mother reading me such memorable books as Charlotte’s Web and The Velveteen Rabbit. Those are wonderful memories that I had always wanted to share with my own daughter some day. We recently began reading chapter books together nightly and I came across the exact same copy of Charlotte’s Web that my mother had once read to me. I was so excited to see that Netflix offers so many great movies that are also children’s books. I love that my daughter and I can read a chapter or two of Charlotte’s web and then watch a bit of the movie the following day. This allows her to put a face to the book, gain some visualizations and paint a better picture when reading the book.

Have you and your child enjoyed any of the movies you see below or read the books? Here’s your chance to discover some wonderful movies to enjoy with your family!
