This week has been incredibly hot here in Georgia, I am talking 97 and high humidity levels. When the weather gets like this I find that it’s best to hunker down at home until the heat and humidity aren’t so unbearable, especially since I have a baby. I tell my family back home that living in Georgia during the summer is a lot similar to what life was like growing up in Maine during the winter. You stay inside a lot during extreme conditions and only venture out when it is bearable for everyone in the family. While the kids and I stay inside and enjoy the pleasures of a home with central air, Netflix has been our go to program. They just keeping adding more and more amazing shows, my “must watch shows” list is starting to get quite lengthy. I was thrilled to discover that the kid section not includes so many shows that I enjoyed as a child. Power Rangers… The Magic School Bus… and Garfield! My older two are always so fascinated when I inform them of shows that I use to watch as a kid. I have to say that we have enjoyed watching almost all of these shows on the list, most recently the Smurfs 2 movie (which was really good and I highly recommend it!) I think the next show on our list is going to be Inspector Gadget, another great show from my childhood! I hope you enjoy the list below and discover some great throwbacks to watch with your family!
