Your mattress sags in the middle: If you notice that your mattress is sagging in the middle, ten you are not getting the proper support you need. This is undoubtedly going to leave you tossing and turning all night.

Is your mattress over 8 years?: The normal lifespan of a mattress is 8-10 years, so if your mattress is older than that, you’re most likely not getting the proper support you need.
Do you roll to the center while sleeping?: If you feel like you are constantly rolling to the center of the bed, your mattress has lost its support. I remember this happening to our old mattress and it was such a pain. My husband and I were constantly waking each other up in the middle of the night because we were kneeing or elbowing one another.
Is your mattress lumpy?: If you find that your mattress is getting pretty lumpy, that means the foam layers and padding have shifted and are not providing you wit good support or pressure relief.

Significant other wakes you: If your partner’s movement wakes you at night, there are many mattress options that reduce the effect of partner movement. My husband moves so much in his sleep and prior to replacing our mattress, this would wake me up often at night. We ended up getting a mattress where I can’t even tell when he moves… wow, what a difference and I am getting so much more sleep!
