Pumpkin Cheesecake Recipe

The fall season consists of so many of my favorite foods and recipes. There is something about the cooler weather that makes me want to hunker down in the kitchen and cook lots of food. One particular recipe that I have been making for many years is Pumpkin Cheesecake! Is there anything better than one of the best types of cakes mixed with pumpkin? My entire family looks forward to me making this every year! This is such a simple and delicious recipe that you can bring to all of your holiday gatherings this year. I bring this dish with me to events all the time and I never go home with leftovers! Your friends and family are sure to enjoy this popular dish!  After about 10 years of making this exact recipe, I have yet to get bad results. This is truly a fool proof recipe that you can’t mess up.

For this recipe you are going to need to following ingredients:

  • 24oz Arla Cream Cheese (4 7oz tubs) (room temperature)
  • 1C Sugar
  • 3TBSP Flour
  • 1tsp Vanilla
  • 5 Large Eggs
  • 3/4 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp Nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp All Spice
  • 1/4 tsp Ground Ginger
  • 1/4C Light Brown Sugar
  • 1(15oz) Can of Pumpkin
  • 1C Sour Cream
  • 2 Pre-made Graham Cracker Crusts

Mix all of the ingredients until well blended. Make sure that you allow your cream cheese to sit out for a few hours until it reaches room temperature, otherwise it won’t mix well. Then, pour the mix into your two pie crusts as this recipe yields two pumpkin cheesecakes. Place both of the cheesecakes into the oven at 350 degrees for one hour. Turn off the stove after one hour, but allow the cheesecakes to sit undisturbed inside the oven for an additional hour. Place cheesecakes on the counter to cool and then place in the refrigerator overnight. The next day, you are ready to enjoy a delicious slice of pumpkin cheesecake!

  1. Excellent recipe!!! I have been making this lovely fall dessert every year for Thanksgiving for years (but normally I add a touch of nutmeg to mine). The cheesecake is usually smooth, flavorful and it isn’t super sweet, and my daughters and their friends love it. Thank you for sharing this recipe!
