My Review

We recently placed four bird feeders in our backyard and have since attracted dozens of beautiful birds. Unfortunately we scare them away the second we sit down at the back deck and are forced to observe them from the living room window. We still get a pretty decent view of these amazing birds, but nothing compared to if we were at the back deck. My daughter was so very excited when she had the opportunity to review a pair of binoculars and the first place she went was the living room window. From that very spot she was able to observe the birds even more closely with the binoculars and get a better idea of what each one actually was. The Nancy B’s Science Club Binoculars work very decent and she is able to see the birds, in detail, all the way across our very large back yard. In addition to these fantastic binoculars, there is also a very informative activity journal that encourages your child to explore the wilderness. My daughter must have spent hours in the backyard, writing away in the journal and viewing everything with the binoculars. I just love when she would come running to me and tell me something new that she learned about in the journal. What I love even more is that the journal provides and encourages independent learning. My daughter is a nature girl and this has really helped her to explore it at a whole new level. I highly recommend the Nancy B’s Binoculars and just know your child will have a wonderful time with them this summer vacation!

  1. My daughter has a bird feeder right outside her kitchen window and these would be perfect for my grandson. He loves running over to the window to try and see the birds. He could actually watch them up close with these

  2. i love helping my grand-children learn about the universe and there planet,, I know a few of my grand-children would love to have this thanks for share and great review 😉 @tisonlyme143

  3. We have a small creek in our backyard and frequently spot deer, rabbits and many birds. My children think running up closer to the animals will help them see better, but, of course, it only scares them away! What a nice product to help the little ones to study the creatures up close!

  4. Bird Watching with these would be a blast. Great way to get the kids outdoors and learning at the same time.

  5. Thanks for the review this is great my granddaughter would be so excited to have this. She love butterflies, birds and lady bugs she would be able to get a up close look at them COOL!

  6. WOW, I am surprised! It also looks fantastic. The journal is such a nice touch, too. My son is very into record keeping. Thanks for the review. Your little ones are adorable.

  7. This is an awesome review! I need a pair of binoculars! I just set up a few birdhouses and bird feeders in my backyard and this is something I would love as well as my daughter!

  8. It is always fun for kids to have their own binoculars especially when going out into the wilderness. Once again, my granddaughter who is the science buff would love to have these.

  9. I have a few of the Nancy B products but not these. I just love the learning activities and your pics are so closeup and really helpful. They’re on my wishlist.

  10. How neat binoculars to help a child learn about the love of birds, and nature. I think birdwatching is a wonderful sport and get a good bird book and a feeder set up in your back yard and you will be amazed at the number of birds that come to your home.

  11. I have a science degree. When I graduated I was asked to take a survey about being a girl in a science field. I had never thought about it. I never felt like I didn’t belong in science. I like to believe other little girls will be allowed to be whatever their dreams are. Tools like this can help light that fire 🙂 That makes me happy.

  12. I like how it comes with a book and all! We have a ton of wildlife here to look at and our son would love to be able to look at them with a pair of these even if they are purple lol Our next door neighbor likes to bird watch so it would be nice to have our son go over there sometime to watch with her.

  13. Last year was the 1st time my 3 year old granddaughter attended my Grandma Camp. Her older brother loves science experiments so she was introduced to some fun science. We made our own solar oven for s’mores. How can you not like science when chocolate is invovled. It would be so great to add Nancy B’s Science Club binoculars to her at camp this year. I will have to do the journaling, or maybe her brother would like to help her.

  14. Great article Heather! I managed to pick up a second hand pair of these for my little one recently, and she loved it! Luckily it was just a bit scuffed round the edges, nothing too bad.

  15. Perfect timing for this post! Appreciating the time and effort you put into your website and in-depth information you offer. Worth sharing! Please do continue sharing updates! Thanks a lot!
