 My Review

I would consider our family to be very tech savvy and we own just about every gadget you can think of. One brand that stands out to me (and has always been our family’s go to brand) would have to be Logitech. My husband plays online video games, so of course he has a Logitech keyboard, speaker system and headphones. My husband also works both in the office and on job sites and always has his laptop and iPad with him. He found that a wireless mouse is the most helpful with the constant travel and we now own three Logitech wireless mouses (one for the home, one for the office and one in his laptop bag, just in case.) So I guess it is safe to assume that we are pretty big supporters of the Logitech products and I have been extremely pleased with them over the years. All of the products we own have been great quality and last for many years, I can’t think of a more reliable brand!

As a blogger I spend quite a bit of time on my laptop and iPad in order to keep up with writing and social media. I was finding it much more efficient to work from my laptop because typing from the touch screen on the iPad was taking far too long. While doing some research online and looking into a keyboard for the iPad, I discovered that Logitech has a Ultrathin Keyboard Cover. Yes, you read that correctly, this product is a keyboard and a cover for your iPad! After reading the many positive customers ratings, I just knew this was something I had to see for myself.

The Logitech Ultrathin Keyboard Cover has exceeded my expectations and is a product that I can’t believe I went so long without using! My iPad clicks right into place and sits firmly into the keyboard base. The keyboard itself works great and I can get so much typing done on my iPad now. The keyboard is wireless and connects through bluetooth, so there are no bulky wires to get in the way. The keyboard provides six months of battery life and so far this appears to be truthful. I have been using it well over a month and have not had to charge it. I just love that I can now view the entire screen when working on my iPad since the touchscreen keyboard doesn’t pop up when the wireless keyboard is in use. This makes a huge difference and much for efficient when I am writing blog posts.

Flip the keyboard over and you can see that this product also doubles as a cover for your iPad! The magnetic clip works excellent and instantly secures itself to my iPad, aligning perfectly. When I was first researching keyboards for the iPad, I despised the idea of not having a proper places to store the keyboard when it wasn’t being used. I also found that it would be inconvenient to have to remove my iPad cover every time I wanted to use the keyboard, as there is no way I would go without protecting my iPad. The whole process I would have to go through in order to use the keyboard really turned me against the idea, that is until I discovered the Logitech Ultrathin Keyboard Cover. This is an ingenious invention, as well as convenient! Overall I am extremely pleased with yet another Logitech product, they never disappoint! The price is also very reasonable, if you factor in how much it would cost you if you purchased an iPad cover and keyboard individually. I highly recommend this product if you are not only looking for a secure way to protect your iPad, but a high quality keyboard as well.
