So I have been completely loving this corn and black bean dip lately! Not only is it incredibly simple to make, but really simple and quick to put together. There is no doubt that the food you provide at your party plays a vital role in the success of your celebration. This doesn’t mean you have to spend tons of money and countless hours slaving in the kitchen. Grab everything you need for the big game day without go over your budget. One recipes that I will defiantly be making for our party is this simple and delicious corn and black bean salsa.

Easy Corn & Black Bean Salsa

You are only going to need a handful of ingredients for this recipe, there are as followed:

Ingredients:

  • 1 Can of Black Beans (drained and rinsed thoroughly)
  • 1 Can of Sweet Corn (drained and rinsed thoroughly)
  • 2 Roman tomatoes, diced
  • 1/4 of a Red Onion, diced
  • Fresh Cilantro
  • 1 lime, squeezed

I was not exaggerating when I mentioned that this recipe was super easy to put together! Once you have your corn and black beans drained and rinsed, put them in a bowl. Add you diced tomatoes, onions, cilantro and lime juice to the bowl and mix for about 1 minute.

Feel free to adjust the ingredients as you please, I am a huge fan of diced tomatoes and if I had more on hand, I totally would have tossed another one in there! The lime juice and cilantro are truely what makes this recipe, it would not be the same without them!

Easy Corn & Black Bean Salsa

Stick your salsa in the refrigerator for an hour or so to cool it down. If I am anxious to start enjoying the salsa, I rinse the corn and beans under really cold water! Any leftover dip can be stored in the refrigerator for a few days, just make sure to mix it up again when you take it out because the lime juice will settle to the bottom.
