Believe it or… summer is nearing an end and kids are starting back up at school very soon! I just took my two oldest school shopping and oh my, is my wallet hurting after this weekend… and they are only in elementary school. I tell you, kids get more expensive the older they get! Those of you that are sending your children to college have the added cost of finding an affordable way to help your child decorate their dorm room. Well I am so thrilled to share with you a simple way of decorating your dorm room on a budget!
We recently took a trip to our local At Home store and the first thing to catch my eye upon entering was the stunning Campus Collection! Just take a look at it in the Instagram image above that I shared with fans last month. Honestly… At Home offers a terrific selection of dorm items at great prices. I am so in love with their style and their items are very decent quality for the price your are paying.
Helping your dorm student create a home away from home is the best way to keep them from getting home sick during that time they are transitioning. You want them to enter their dorm room with a smile and feel comfortable in their new surroundings. This is also the perfect opportunity to let their personality shine!
So what’s next? Before stepping out the front door with your college bound kid, make sure to print of the At Home move-in checklist to ensure they get everything they need to start the school year off great!
You will find a link to the checklist right under the header of the At Home Campus Collection website. You will also be apple to take a look through all of their different collections and amazing decor items! I am just so in love with their style and could easily spend a few solid hours looking through their store.
I hope you enjoyed this post and the At Home products that were featured. Good luck to your college students and I hope they find some amazing deals on some great college decor items while visiting their local At Home store!
