 Our Review

You know that familiar saying “never judge a book by its cover?” I have to admit that I completely disregarded that bit of advice the moment a laid eyes on the beautiful Audrey Bunny book cover. Without even opening this book I already knew that my daughter and I were going to enjoy reading it for many nights to come. The simple image of a young girl holding a stuffed bunny in her arms instantly made my heart melt, as it reminded me so very much of my own daughter. For as long as my daughter could grasp something in her hands, she has had a great love for stuffed animals. She has always found so much comfort in her little animals and she puts so much care and love into treating them kindly.

Upon opening the cover,  I discovered that it had not deceived me and that this was indeed a wonderful book! With a seven year old daughter in school, there have been many discussions of how people are different. We are all made in our own special way and no matter the imperfections we may have, that makes us who we are. The adorable Audrey Bunny spent a decent part of this book hiding her imperfection, afraid of what others may think of her. The young girl’s love and acceptance ultimately teaches Audrey Bunny that it’s OK to be different. The message in this book is beautiful and one that children and adults can all learn from! We are all made different, but that’s what makes us beautiful, flaws and all!

  1. I also have a 3yr old Daughter who will greatly benefit from this book. She had a 2.5 in birth mark on her left arm, it kinda resembles looks like a band aid. I wonder if she will ever try to hide hers? This is the perfect book for her. You are who you are, don’t hide whats part of you.

  2. This book sounds perfect for my six year old daughter who struggles with differences between herself and other people…

  3. I would like to win this book for my niece Stella for Christmas.
