 My Review

With two children that suffer from eczema and sensitive skin, you can guarantee that I am prepared for baby #3 to have similar type skin as his/her siblings. Unfortunately my children inherited their skin conditions from me and I have learned quite a bit over the years as to what works and what doesn’t. Never… ever use anything that is simply a lotion because it will cause more damage than good. I remember a recent incident (at  my in laws) where my three year old was complaining about some dry skin on his back. His grandma immediately grabbed some of her lotion and proceeded to put it on him. Not even 10 seconds later he was screaming in agony, as the lotion was causing him pain. As a person that has suffered with eczema for years, I know the pain and irritation that regular lotions can cause and had to instantly flush his skin to get the lotion off. It was a great lesson for grandma, but not something that I would want a newborn to have to endure. That is why I am encouraging my fans with babies on the way to make sure that they are providing their newborn babies with the best skincare products out there, because you don’t know until its too late if your baby has sensitive skin. The saying “It’s better to be safe than sorry” applies here greatly. I am excited to introduce to you a brand which offers amazing skincare products for those of us with sensitive skin. I just love the two products they provided me for review and can’t tell express enough to you how wonderful they are. They provide immediate moisture to my children’s eczema, causing them no pain whatsoever. They also do not leave a greasy feeling after, which is something that my children really appreciate. I am greatly looking forward to using these on the new baby and knowing it will be safe for his/her skin, no matter what his/her skin type may be.

exederm Baby Skin Products & Mixie Bottle Review (Getting Ready For Baby Gift Guide)

This baby bottle is by far one of the most convenient and ingenious ones I have yet to discover! The Mixie allows you to store formula in a small compartment at the bottom of the bottle. You then fill the bottle with bottle and put it away for later. When you are out running errands or woken up by a crying baby in the middle of the night, it will only take you seconds to have the bottle ready. You simply press the bottom of the bottle and the container on the inside will pop open. All you have to do is shake the bottle and it is ready to go. How amazing is that!? I am just in awe of this product and can think of so many places it will be useful once the baby is here.

  2. I have seen the skin product in our store but never tried it. Our son’s skin wasnt bad at all when an infant and it seems burts bees does well with the eczema on the back of his arms during the summer…I will have to keep this in mind for next winter when it flares up again. The bottle is very interesting…it would be great for infants since it is a smaller bottle. Def save you time while your little one is screaming/crying to be fed in public 🙂

  3. The bottle sounds really convenient and innovative. Great for busy parents. I’m really interested in that lotion…even for my husband.

  4. I am IN LOVE with the bottle!! This baby (#5) is the first one that I’m not able to breastfeed, therefore it’s the first time that I’ve had to deal with not having milk immediately ready…and I HATE it! Also the clumps the powder formula gets are horrible…this product would be super convenient! I am abt to buy one RIGHT NOW…thank you!

  5. I have yet to use exederm on a baby but I use it myself every single day. It has let me have control over my ezcemawhen nothing elseworked. I just use exederm and then lather on coconut oil. It hasworked wondersfor me and I plan on using when baby is born.

  9. Thank you for sharing the incident with your son’s eczema and the lotion. I never knew this about eczema, so your review was helpful for more than just the product. Yes, I would want the right remedy for my own grandson (not born until June) if he has eczema.

  10. Thank you for sharing. My son has eczema and it is so hard finding something gentle but works

  11. Oh how I wish they had this on the market when my “babies” were babies! They had a few areas of concern on their arms and thighs. This would have been great, thanks for spreading the word, even if you’ve helped just one little person get relief then it’s worth it.

  12. I have never heard of this product before, but after seeing this review i just sent my daughter-in-law here to this for her to read the review as well. THANKS!

  13. i have never heard of this product but i love exederm! i love that this is extra hypo allergenic because i have some sensitive skinned kids in my household and lots of lotions make them break out in rashes or get irritated, i definitely need to invest in this! thanks for sharing 🙂

  16. The mixie bottle is such a great idea for moms who formula feed! I know when I eventually used it with my son, I would sometimes see clumps floating and it would bug me so much!

  17. I wished I would have known about this product. I might buy some now and try to use it for my children’s exema.

  18. I love the idea of this bottle! And I have heard nothing but good things about exederm baby skin products! I am planning on breastfeeding my LO, but will definitely get one of these for the future if I end up supplementing. Thanks for the great review!

  19. This sounds like good stuff, for both my kids and me. We all have somewhat sensitive skin.

  20. You really are a great picture taker ! What kinda camera do you use?
The mixie bottle is a wonderful concept. Very nice way to be set up and ready to go when your on the go OR for those 2-5- and 8 AM feedings. When your barely awake. If you have it all set and ready all you gotta do is add water. Idk about the nipple on that bottle though. From the pic it looks kinda big. Is it orthodonticly designed?
I am not trying to be a party pooper. Just curious.

    1. Thanks April! I use a Nikon D3100, but it’s really all about the background, lighting and editing because I tell you this with all honesty… I am far from being a professional, lol 🙂

  21. I’m excited to try the mixie bottle…will allow hubby a fool proof way to help with night feedings.

  22. These Exederm skin products sound excellent for bad skin conditions and the mixie sounds very handy.
