My Review

Newborns are notorious for keeping new moms and dads up all night while they prefer to spend all day in a deep slumber. With baby number three due in the middle of summer, I wanted to make sure that I had a good place for the baby to sleep during the day while I cared for my other two children. Something that was easy to transport around the house since we have a playroom on the bottom floor, living area on the second floor, and a huge backyard. Depending on the weather and the kids mood, the day could take us anywhere and the last thing I want to worry about is lugging around huge baby sleeper. I knew the moment I saw the DayDreamer Sleeper that this was the perfect baby item for our family! However, it wasn’t until I saw it in person did I realize just how amazing this product really is. It immediately exceeded my expectations and I could tell this was really going to provide me with a safe place for my new baby to sleep. The DayDreamer Sleeper is reclined at the perfect angle and from experience I have found that babies are much more content in this position. It is also so incredibly soft and snug, baby will find much comfort in the support on both sides of them.

Accidents happen… diapers leak, spit up get everywhere and older siblings something like to wipe their hands where they’re not suppose to. That is why I personally prefer baby items that are easy to wash and the DayDreamer has a convenient machine washable cover. This cover is super easy to remove, nothing like trying to get the cover off your car seat!

The DayDreamer Sleeper is simply perfect in so many ways and absolutely a must have baby item! I am really looking forward to how easy it is going to be this summer moving around with the kids and having a lightweight (and high quality) sleeper for the new baby. Convenience and quality are not always two qualities that you find in a product, but the DayDreamer Sleeper undoubtedly possess both of them!

***UPDATE***

Due to the recent headlines on more incidents with the Nap Nanny (a product similar to the DayDreamer) I thought it was important to share with you how the two products differ. DayDreamer has provided an image which highlights the three main differences between the two. There are many more reasons why the DayDreamer is 100% safe for your child when used properly, all of which is explained in depth in the Nap Nanny vs DayDreamer article.

What is different about this from the Nap Nanny that has been recalled? I think both look amazing, but now have gotten very nervous about them.

I WISH I had known about these when my daughter was born in 2006 – if they had them back then. She had severe colic and for 2 months she would ONLY sleep in her car seat – we had to lay her in there and let her sleep so we could sleep 🙁 This would have been a dream come true!

I like that this chair prevents gastric reflux. I always worry about little ones choking especially after eating. Nice gift for someone special
