Our Review
This was out first ever trip to the much talked about Pumpkin Land! We have always wanted to make the one hour trip to visit this great local attraction and were extremely excited to finally have the opportunity. Our first impressions of Pumpkin Land were “WOW, this place is ginormous!” Upon entering, my children were immediately drawn to the Enchanted Barnyard where they were infatuated with the donkeys and goats. I was eventually able to pry my children from the adorable farm animals and we made our way to the mining area. My seven year old daughter was captivated by this and the set up was great. Your child receives a bag of dirt with “gems” inside and they must us the tray in the water to mine for them. She was also given a small plastic bag and a chart so that she could bring home all of her gems and learn about each one. This was one of the most memorable activities at Pumpkin Land that day and my daughter is still talking about it!
The day was spent going on slides and bounce houses, exploring the munchkin maze, being spooked by the haunted day ride, and taking a hay ride to the pumpkin patch to choose some pumpkins to bring home. After the many hours spent doing all of that and then some, we still didn’t have the time to do everything! I am not exaggerating when I say there is enough fun stuff for your kids to do at Pumpkin Land to last the entire day! I highly suggest getting there when they first open, giving yourself ample amount of time to see and do everything. This kids were jumping for joy and their smiles were contagious, but alas, they had worked up an appetite. We enjoyed a delicious large pizza at the Farm House Pizza Shop where the kids enjoyed playing on the playground as we waited for our food. I would say that our overall experience exceeded our expectations! We truly enjoyed our trip to Pumpkin Land and would make the one hour trip again in a heartbeat!
Awesome review and looks like you had great weather for your visit. Enjoyed the photos! Glad you had a great time.
