Pampers Give the Gift of Sleep Campaign!

This review was made possible by Double Duty Divas and Pampers. I was provided the featured product free of charge to facilitate my review, but all opinions are 100% mine.

“By interviewing over 9,000 moms about what was important for their baby, Pampers found the number one unmet need is a diaper that provides superior overnight dryness. Pampers incorporated this firsthand insight, as well as the brand’s deep understanding of baby and baby’s needs, to design a diaper that both mom and baby can count on for up to 12 hours of overnight protection.”

* Pampers Swaddlers, Pampers’ softest diaper and the #1 choice of hospitals, is now available through size 5.

* Pampers Cruisers are now more absorbent and offer Pampers’ best fit for all the ways babies play freely.

We may be lucky enough to have our youngest officially retired from diapers, but we are no strangers to the Pampers brand. This trusted brand of diapers has always been one of our top choices and they never disappoint! I used Pampers diapers with both of my children and could go on for hours about the benefits of using them! I am happy to see that Pampers is listening to the parents of little ones and improving their diapers to help make their lives easier. Getting a good nights rest is essential if you want to survive motherhood and Pampers has made it one step easier for you to rest easy! No more crying baby waking up in the middle of the night due to a leaking diaper because Papers has you covered. This will most definitly be my choice of diapers, again, if and when we have more children!

How Miss Frugal Mommy Gave the Gift of Sleep!

With overnight protection in mind, Pampers wanted to give influential bloggers the opportunity to give the “Gift of Sleep” to a family or baby in their community.  Miss Frugal Mommy recently had the opportunity to Give the Gift of Sleep to an expectant mother in need!

Before I get into the details of how I gave the gift of sleep, I would first like to tell you a few personal things about myself. I discovered that I was pregnant with my daughter when I was just eighteen years old and gave birth to her only a few short months after my nineteenth birthday. Being a young mother was one of the hardest obstacles I have ever overcome and it was not an easy road nor is it something I would ever wish upon someone. I was fortunate enough to have had an amazing partner that stood by me and to have a family that offered their support and unconditional love. We were blessed beyond measures when we brought this amazing little girl into our lives! I understand the struggles of being a young mom, the difficulty of having to leave your adolescence. The path was not easy, we had to grow up much faster than people our age, but eventually made a wonderful life together! We are now a thriving family of four and life could not be any more perfect!

When Pampers provided me with a gift card in which I could use towards helping a fellow mother, I knew instantly that I wanted to help a young mom. I reached out to a local mom’s group and a another mom connected me with someone that very same day. I was giddy with excitement and could not wait to pay it forward to someone that I could relate to in so many ways… someone that I knew just too well what they were going through. It was through the help and kindness of others that my husband and I were able to get on our feet. I am so grateful that I could offer just a little bit of help so that an  expectant young mom could sleep better knowing she has some essentials for her baby. I exchanged messages with this wonderful young lady and was able to get her baby registry information. I then went shopping and purchased several items from her list, as well as a few extra “must have” items that I thought would help her sleep a bit easier when the baby arrives! There is absolutely no greater feeling than paying it forward and I am so happy to have helped someone. Thank you Pampers for allowing me to help a mom in my community receive the gift of sleep!

  1. I have the utmost respect for young mothers! Being a good mother is the hardest job there is…and I was 29 before I had my first child! What a great thing to be able to Pay It Forward to another young mother. I’m certain she was grateful for your considerate and generous help!

  2. Awesome job! It is an amazing thing you were able to do for this young mom and being able to relate to her makes it that much more special!

  3. wow, that’s one lucky mommy! pampers is the go to brand in our household. I love how well the diapers hold up for how active and crazy my lil man is

  4. It is a great thing to help someone out. It just makes you feel good knowing you made someone life out a little easier. I really do love this campaign and from Pampers its a win!

  5. All of these are great – and exactly what a new mom would need – anything to help with sleep. Such a good post and I will be sharing it with others, thanks!

  6. wow she’s one lucky mom ! First time mom to be so never have used pampers but have heard great things about them so pampers is what I bought for the baby when she finally gets here !

  7. It`s always a great feeling to be able to pay it forward. i have been able to do it a number of times.
    Pampers are a great brand.

  8. That is AWESOME that you were blessed in that way (I know the young mom receiving your generousity feels blessed) I too was a young mom (exact same age as you were to be exact) and dealt with alot of peoples ideas of what that meant.I spent years overcoming it finally hit middle age with my kids ranging from 6-19 and just found out (long after we were done) that we will be having an unexpected disruption in not only our sleep but our life plans-We now also get to find out what is is like to be opposite side of the stigma (when people ask if we are the grandparents) of being “OLDER ” Parents

  9. I think this is amazing and wish that someone just as great as you helping out a mother in need, could grace me with their presence. What a wonderful blessing to get when times are hard, and everything that you didn’t even know you needed. Making it just a little easier. I too was and am a young mom. I found out I was pregnant on the morning of my 17th birthday. I knew from the moment it said pregnant I was going to do this by myself. I hid it from my family until someone told my mom. I was five months pregnant when she kicked me out. Bringing my son in the world by myself and negatively was not so easy. But I tried to make it special for me and him. Regardless of anyones feeling of my situation. Luckily for me I had saved money from when I was working to make by with all that I could. I had really nothing, but living with just pure basics was what was done. My son is now almost 8 and is the best blessing I ever got, along with meeting the man who not only would become a father to my son, but also gave me the wonderful gift of two daughters. None planned for and all weird interesting semi health scare stories. But my three kids are the greatest little miracles ever. I think though having a child young did not phase me like it would most. It is not something I would want for anyone. It is hard especially if you don’t have a partner or family to lean on. But its great that you had that, and later you would be able to help someone in a similar situation. I hope one day when myself and bf are out of this both being unemployed I can pay it forward. Because while we may not have much, we have a roof, food, and transportation. Sorry for the long post but I think this is just amazing.

    1. That’s great! I wish there were more people like you in this world. It would be a much better place. Also Rebecca HM, I’m glad your life turned around for you despite the people (biological father & your mother) who were not there for you. Just proves that you’re a strong woman! =)

  10. How wonderful! Sleep is definitely a rare and wonderful gift for new moms, and anything that helps is fabulous. Not having to deal with overnight leaks is one less thing for a frazzled mommy to worry about!

  11. Pampers is incredible! They have been with our kids growing up and now with my boy who has twins for his 1st child and I know they rely on pampers to get them through those sleepless nights, so they can be awesome parents everyday to themselves and their babies! Much Thanks to Pampers.

  12. What an awesome help that must have been for the young mother. Even well established individuals struggle when adjusting to a new baby, so I’m sure it was a big relief.

  13. This is a wonderful and awesome gift for that mom just starting out. This would be a great help and will save extra money that can go for a start of a college fund for baby.

  14. I wish I had someone like that when I was a new mother. Now I am have 3 year old, an 18 month old, and in Feb. I will have a newborn. I know what it is like and I think it is a great idea for any new momma. Wonderful. In regards to Pampers, it is the only brand I put on my kids. The over night protection is awesome. Thanks for this post!

  15. I am currently pregnant with baby number two, and since we won’t be finding out the sex until birth, I may or may not be having a baby shower. So I would use the $50 gift card to buy some essentials, like breast cream, breast pads, and a new nursing pillow! 🙂

  16. What a great gift this is it would be helpful to any family with a new baby!I am a young stay at home mom I have two little ones and another due in December and I know this would be a blessing to win!

  17. We love pampers in my household and its great to see they have reached out to moms to improve their diapers.

  18. An improved diaper with more absorbancy does give the gift of better sleep for everyone in the family. Thanks.

  19. An entire night of sleep is what most parents and care-takers of young children crave the most along with “adult time”. Pampers is the diaper my kids used as preemies.

  20. Pampers truly is the gift of sleep. Our first born, we were forever searching for the best diaper, and pamper really came through. I love how swaddles is now up to size 5, its the best, and then cruisers our second best, baby dry however, doesn’t help because it gave our lil one rash. But that never stopped us from buying pampers. Swaddlers and Cruiser are really great, espcially swaddles it really holds accidents inside.

  21. I would definitely give the gift of sleep to my best friend and mother of 3, Heather. I am the nanny to her 3 kids ages 12, 7 and 22 months and they are a handful, add in my 9 year old and we have a party everyday– with no sleep! We have another friend with a newborn on the way we would give the newborn gifts to (and of course the gift of sleep!)

  22. Thank you for sharing that. I was a young mother and know what it is like to struggle and sacrifice. I had a strong family and friend support. Here I am with my second husband and between us our youngest is 19. We are starting over again, scared and so very excited… I have to say I am happy to not know someone in my situation 20 years ago.

  23. I’ve always loved and preferred pampers diapers over any other brand. Such an amazing gift for a new mom 🙂

  24. It’s been a long time since I’ve needed Pampers 🙂 I remember the first time I changed my little girl. And yes, we used Pampers! They are the comfiest and keep your baby nice and dry.
