My Review
I have a third grader whom I pack a lunch for nearly five days a week and let me tell you, paying for plastic ziplock bags adds u fast. I also have a four year old son that I pack snacks for when we go to playdates, run errands or any other place I know he will want a snack. I am contributing so much waste to the landfills by constantly purchasing plastic bags where there are so many alternatives out there. I have tried out several different brands of reusable snack bags, but they have all ended up quite worn after only using them for a few months. The major problem I was having is that my daughter’s ice pack was making the reusable bags wet and therefore getting her snacks wet. Then the snacks would get soggy and stain the bags and they weren’t cleaning well when I washed them in the washing machine. I gave up on using them this school year because it just didn’t seem worth all that hassle when plastic bags were so much more convenient for me. That was until I was recently introduced to Yummi Pouch cloth bags, the perfect alternative to plastic bags!

The moisture resistant lining combats the problem I have always had with other reusable bags and my daughter’s food doesn’t end up soggy. The nylon material makes the super easy to wipe down and clean, I don’t even need to put them in the wash. I am also very fond of the fact that they zipper opening, we have found that the velcro ones are a pain because snack crumbs are constantly getting stuck in them.
