Helping To Raise Money For Charity By sharing Holiday Wishes
This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of UPS for IZEA. All opinions are 100% mine.
As a person that does the majority of their holiday shopping online, I have witnessed many years of UPSers working tirelessly to ensure my packages are delivered on time. When you think of the bigger picture, each and every package that lands on a doorstep started with a simple wish. Whether it was that doll your daughter dreamed of, or the kitchen set your mother eyeballed… someone somewhere wished for that gift being delivered by UPS. Did you know that this holiday season, UPS is highlighting the people and organizations who are dedicated to making their communities, country and the world a better place by “delivering wishes” in their own way. UPS wants to share these magical stories and also make it more special, but they need out help!
I am a very optimistic and happy person, I love scrolling through social media and reading those heartfelt stories. How amazing would it be if you sharing an inspirational story or wish could actually help raise money for charity? Well my friends, that is exactly what UPS is doing! By telling them your general wish for the greater good, or sharing how you or someone in your community is making wishes come true by being a problem solver, you will help contribute to the UPS #WishesDelivered campaign. For each one of these wish stories shared with the hashtag #WishesDelivered, UPS is going to donate $1 to one of their charity partners (Boys & Girls Club of America, World Food Programme, Toys for Tots Literacy Program, The Salvation Army, The UN Refugee Agency) up to $150K! I would personally like to make a wish this holiday season and that is for everyone to remember the love in their heart. We see so many horrible events in the news every day, it seems like a trend these days. My wish is that we spend more time loving, encouraging, supporting, caring, welcoming and befriending those around us… a little love can go a long ways.
Sharing your wish this holiday season is simple and all that it required is posting your wish on Twitter or Instagram using the hashtag #WishesDelivered. You can also post your wish directly to the #WishesDelivered Site However, the more places you share, the more people you will reach and the many more you will inspire. I hope you will join me by sharing holiday wishes and stories, how often can you say that by creating holiday you were also able to help raise money for charity? What’s your wish?
