Fun & Simple Valentine’s Day Treats

Are you looking for some fun and simple Valentine’s day sweets to enjoy with the family or bring to your child’s classroom party? I ventured to my local Joanne Fabrics and discovered that all of the Valentine’s Day items were on sale for 40% off… score! We got a ton of great stuff for a really great deal and my kids are loving the treats we’ve been making.

Candy Melts are a great product to work with, it melts easily in the microwave or on the stove. The candy molds were very inexpensive and can be used again and again! We also grabbed some lollipop sticks and a variety pack of Valentine’s Day themed sprinkles to decorate our treats with.

Whether you choose to use the molds to create your treat, or simply dip the pretzel rods and layer them with the sprinkles, the results are equally tasty!

This was such a simple, fun and easy way to create a variety of Valentine’s Day treats and each one was incredibly delicious! We really enjoyed the pretzel rods and plan on making a few batches for my oldest daughter’s class, that is… if we don’t eat them all first… yum!
