Easy White Peach Green Tea
A special thanks to Pique for sponsoring today’s conversation!
I am a complete tea addict that enjoys about six cups (or more) each day! In addition to the many benefits of drinking tea, there are also endless amounts of flavors and variations to try. I truly enjoy testing out new flavors and discovering my new favorite brew. With the warm weather and Georgia peaches at their peak, I decided to make some delicious white peach green tea using the Pique tea crystals.
I am the queen of finding ways to make things as simple and easy as possible, which is why I am a huge fan of Pique tea crystals! This is an exceptional tea that can be brewed in an instant. Handcrafted from whole leaves using proprietary slow-brew process, Pique delivers the exquisite flavor and natural antioxidants of loose leaf tea. No longer do you have to sit there steeping a bag of tea, simple pour tea crystals into your hot water and you are ready to enjoy a delicious cup of tea!
I would have to say that I consume green tea more often than any other kind. Green Tea contains antioxidants and phytochemicals that have some great health benefits. Green Tea is also a particularly rich source of polyphenols, such as flavonoids and catechins. There are so many reasons to cut back on your usual cup of of coffee and choose a green tea instead. Sometimes it can be difficult trying to enjoy a hot drink during the summer, that is why I decided to make a cold batch of white peach green tea. This is so incredibly easy to make with regular tea, but add the Pique tea crystals to the mix and this recipe can be made in less than 10 minutes!
Another great thing about this particular recipe is that you really do not have to add any sugar/sweetener, making it even healthier to drink. Adding fruit to tea is a great way to add a natural sweetness, allowing you to skip that sweetener all together. You only need a couple ingredients to get started, here is what you will need:
Ingredients
- 3 quarter water (12 cups)
- 5 Pique green tea crystal packs
- 4 peaches
- Sweetener (optional)
Instructions
- Bring 3 quarts of water to a boil
- Add in green tea packs and mix
- Let tea cool to room temperature or place into the refrigerator to chill
- Peel and slice peaches
- Place peach slices into a food processor and blend until pureed
- Pour peach puree through a strainer
- Add strained peaches into tea and stir to combine
- Refrigerate and chill for at least 1 hour
- Serve over ice and garnish with additional peach slices if desired
How simple was that? This is one of my all time favorite summer beverages and so much cheaper than buying it from a local coffee shop. If you are interested in trying Pique Tea out for yourself, make sure to sign up for their free trial… I guarantee you are going to love it!
