Take a moment to look around the Tin Toy Arcade and I guarantee you will spend hours searching through all of their products and reliving childhood memories! This website is the perfect way to discover classic and retro toys and relive those moments from your childhood with your own children. I was also pleased to discover that Tin Toy Arcade is a shop run by a family and friends right here in my hometown of Georgia. Tin Toy Arcade is like an old fashioned shopping arcade with unique surprises and fun gifts from all around the world. I found some om my favorite characters as a child and many toys that I enjoyed playing with, I could not wait to share those stories and experiences with my three children. They were over the moon when the box finally arrived and we spend the afternoon opening each toy up and listening to stories from my childhood.

The Singing Bird in Cage Wind Up Original is a beautiful signing bird that magically hops and swings as she sings in the wooden cage. There is a wind up mechanism on the bamboo cage’s base that creates realistic chirps of a song bird, synchronized with the bird’s motions. A little fact for you… a similar singing bird actually inspired Walt Disney to develop a new robotic art form that he called Audio-Animatronics. My children have found a great place on the mantle for this magical bird and take it down when they want to entertain their baby sister. This is such a simple, sweet and rustic toy that can be greatly enjoyed by many.

The Jeff the Giraffe Push Puppet is a toy that I specifically remember playing with as a child and it always made me giggle! Just push the base of the toy to make the giraffe wiggle and dance. This classic wooden push puppet is brightly hand-painted with a long neck and soft brown ears. I remember making funny shows with my sister when we were younger, we each had one of out own in different animals. My children were equally entertained by Jeff and they have enjoyed many laughs with it already!

Goodbye remote noisy remote controlled cars that constantly need new batteries… hello Zig Zag Wooden Vertical Racing Set! I chose this toy with my four year old son in mind, I just knew that he would enjoy racing the wooden cars down the Zig Zag Racing Set. All you have to do to enjoy this toy is place the wooden car on the top rung of the track and let it wheel its way down to the bottom. This beautiful English race set is from the 1950’s I am so in love with the style and design. This natural wood track makes a really great wooden decoration for a child’s room and we actually keep it on his dresser.

The wooden catch ball classic game is another toy I spent many hours playing with as a child. If you are looking for a simple way to keep your children entertained, this is a really great toy for that. You just toss and catch the red wooden ball in the wooden cup. Challenge your children to see how many times in a row can they can catch the ball. This classic ball game features a painted wooden cup and handle, red wooden ball and white string. This classic wooden game is fun for people of all ages and a game that never grows old.

My oldest daughter has been asking for an ant farm for a few months now but we have not been able to find one we like anywhere. I was pleased to find that Tin Toy Arcade had the Ant Farm Classic Green Science Kit! My daughter immediately went outside and caught some ants as I put this toy together for her. Once she placed them inside were were able to watch the world’s tiniest engineers dig tunnels, build roads and erect bridges in the classic ant farm. My daughter has already been begging me to buy several more ant farms so she can connect them for a larger ant world. This live ant habitat was invented in 1956 by Milton Levine at a 4th of July Picnic and the Toy Industry Associate honored the Ant Farm as a Toy of the Century! This is certainly a toy that every child should have the opportunity to enjoy and experience in their childhood!

We were so happy with all of the products we received and hope you take a moment to look around Tin Toy arcade to discover some classic and retro toys from your childhood!
