Christmas In July: Time To Start Thinking About Your Holiday Cards!

I am going to be completely honest with you… I have been a huge slacker when it comes to Christmas cards the past few years! I use to be on top when it came to getting those Christmas cards out to family and friends. I would go all out creating my own pictures… getting the kids in matching outfits… setting up an elaborate backdrop… and getting some amazing shots! People would always complement me on my Christmas cards and were shocked when I would tell them that they were not professionally done. Unfortunately I just have not had the time and energy the past few years, we purchased our first home two years ago… right before Christmas and my entire life was being consumer by that entire process. The following year I just plain procrastinated and holiday cards never ended up happening. This year I am determined to get my photo Christmas cards done and sent out in the mail on time and what better way to make sure it gets done than starting the process now?

Christmas In July: Time To Start Thinking About Your Holiday Cards!

I have saved a lot of time, money and stress by creating my holiday cards on my own. After taking photos of my kids and editing holiday photo cards on the computer, I head over to Basic Invite where I can customize and create my cards. Basic Invite is one of the few websites that allows you almost unlimited color options with instant previews online. Once you select a design that you love, the website allows you to change the color of each element on the card to over 180 different color options so that you can make sure the card is exactly how you want it! I truly love this feature and it allows me to customize the card to match the outfits and background of the photos, so everything comes together perfectly in the card. This is what really sets Basic Invite apart from almost any other online stationery company and why I go to them when creating my holiday cards.

Basic Invite is also one of the few websites that actually allows you the ability to order a printed sample of your card so that you can see exactly how it will print  before you decide to place a final order. After 10+ years of ordering photos online and creating holiday cards, I can’t begin to tell you how many times they just didn’t turn out the way I wanted. I love that I can see the actual work before placing a big order, without any cost to me.

Basic Invite is just as colorful with the envelopes as they are with their invitations. Your holiday card will stand out from the rest before your recipients even open the envelope! You can choose from over 40 different colors when it comes to the envelopes and all of  them are peel and seal so the envelopes can be quickly and securely closed.
