3 Things to Look For in a Rhinoplasty Surgeon

Over the years, rhinoplasty has become more popular, mainly because it enhances the most central part of the face— the nose. Whether it’s purely for cosmetic and aesthetic reasons or it’s for treating a medical condition, having rhinoplasty surgery is something you should prepare for. One of the things that involve this preparation is looking for a good rhinoplasty surgeon. Taking your time and choosing well will help you avoid regretting it and make the rhinoplasty cost worth it. If you’re considering getting a nose job anytime soon, then here are some indicators of a great rhinoplasty surgeon:

1. Must be after your well-being

Your preferred rhinoplasty surgeon must show genuine care for you, not only after a good sale or some of those green bills from your wallet. Your surgeon must tell you all you need to know about rhinoplasty and what to expect before and after the surgery. You must not be kept in the dark about the procedure you’re going to be facing.  Farrior Facial Plastic Surgery tailors each of their procedure to your own personal goals, thus ensuring a comfortable experience with beautiful, natural results. The first thing you will notice when you walk through the front door of this facial plastic surgeon’s office is their caring staff. They will immediately make you feel right at home! Dr. Farrior and his staff believe in creating a welcoming environment and treating each and every one of their patients like family.

2. Must be easily approachable

If your doctor takes too long to reply to your questions and queries, then you should watch out. It might be a red flag for a bad surgeon. Your surgeon must be quick to answer you as soon as able, and explains thoroughly, not just reply empty words just for the sake of responding. Some to take not of is that Dr. Farrior truly listens to his patients and is always open to their concerns. While he is dedicated to helping his patients achieve the results that they want, they will never compromise your health and safety to do it.

3. Must have a good reputation in the community

The procedure you’re going to be facing isn’t a joke, and you might want to ask from family and friends about their recommendations. Check the reviews about a specific surgeon and listen to what others have to say about him or her. You don’t want your procedure to end up in a mess that does more harm than good. Do your assignment and do not be lazy in doing a little research. Social media is always a great place to look at what other customers are saying about their experience. Just a quick search on Facebook and I was able to discover that the office of Dr. Farrior has a 5 star rating and a few praises from their patience.

I hope this information was helpful to you and allows you to make a more informed decision before deciding to get rhinoplasty surgery. This is no small decision so make sure you are 100% comfortable before you follow though.

  1. You make a great point about how a potential surgeon should have a good reputation within the community. My mother-in-law is looking into having an endoscopic brow lift procedure done. She’s hoping to find a reputable and experienced professional to do this for her.

  2. Interesting tips you have here — thanks! I couldn’t agree more with what you said. I just had a rhinoplasty surgeon last year and fortunately, I found the perfect surgeon for the procedure. I did my homework and ask for recommendations. A surgeon with a good reputation in the community is most likely to be recommended due to his/her experience, not to mention, the results of his/her work. And that’s important.

  3. I agree with most of the items on here. Good tips, though. I, myself, am a rhinoplasty surgeon based in Houston, TX. Online reviews are only 1/2 the story. In today’s world, some patients use reviews as a means to control/manipulate physicians into doing their bidding. Honest surgeons will have good overall reviews, but beware of any service provider with a straight 5 star rating. They either have not done enough surgery or are spamming their reviews.
