Squeaking Shoes Designed To Make Walking Fun

My first child was a cautious toddler that took her time when it came to making that first step. Even once she began walking she was never far from arms reach and always stayed in close distance. I could bring her everywhere and anywhere without the worry of her running off or wandering away. My son on the other hand was a wild child from the beginning, determined to keep me on my toes once he began walking at just ten months old. I was so thrilled when I discovered a pair of squeaking shoes so even if he managed to get some distance on me, I would still have a general idea of where he sprinted off to. They came quite handy and something I highly suggest if you have a toddler that loves to run off. Now here I am with baby number three that is a fast crawling seven month old and showing no signs of slowing down. I am highly confident that she will follow in her brothers foot steps and I will once again face the challenges of a child that loves to be on their feet running. Ikiki has four creativity designed style of sneakers that are made with little feet in mind. This company was concerned with the options of children’s shoes out on the market and the fact that many were made exactly like adult shoes when clearly our feet are different. Ikiki shoes are designed to help support new walkers and to ensure they are comfortable on their feet. The high top feature gives your child much needed ankle support without being too tight on them and causing discomfort. The sole of the shoes is is soft and flexible, plus each sole has a different design and color so that your child can remember to put them on the correct feet. Kids literally have a 50/50 chance of putting their shoes on the correct feet, but I promise you… they will always put them on the wrong feet… every time, without fail! I have to say that this was quite an ingenious feature!
At first glance at these shoes and getting familiar with the features, you would probably assume that the squeaker is the best feature. But I would have to say that the fact that you can turn the squeaker off is by far… the best feature… hands down! There were times when I would be in a store or the library and my son would be running around causing such a scene with his squeaking shoes. You would be quite surprised by the amount of glares I would get while walking through a store with my son and his squeaking shoes. So it’s really great to have the off switch for those places where you encounter people that aren’t as in love with the squeaking shoes as your child is!
For those of you with an adorable baby such as myself, ikiki has an adorable collection of baby booties. These super sweet booties don’t squeak, but they make up for that with amazing comfort and style. I can’t begin to tell you how many baby shoes because they had fallen or slipped off. The ikiki booties contain a gentle elastic that gurentees that the booties will stay on. We have been on many adventures with Miss Adeline and I have yet to lose on along the way. I am never having to readjust or slip them back on, they always stay right on her feet. Plus did I mention how adorable they are?
