Quick & Easy Meals For Kids
The air is finally cooler here In Georgia and while warm weather activities have subsided, they have quickly been replaced by many fall events. Festivals, sport practices, school events, homework and life make me often dread dinnertime. There are many nights where I find myself exhausted, overwhelmed and with barely enough time to help the kids get homework done… let alone dinner! Whenever I feel like there aren’t enough hours in the day, I turn to a trusted meal that makes both parents and kids happy! I have recently partnered with the Kraft Heinz Food Company for this sponsored post in order to share a quick and easy meal solution for kids!
As a kid I used to LOVE picking out frozen kid meals at the grocery store, this was a special treat and something I always looked forward to. I loved the process of being in charge of choosing the meal I wanted, and then being able to go home and help my mom or dad prepare it. Frozen kid meals have come a long way since I was a kid and contain far more options than I was used to. I recently brought my youngest to Publix where we picked up the new KRAFT Macaroni & Cheese Frozen Dinners.
The KRAFT Macaroni & Cheese Frozen Dinners are new at Publix, so if you don’t remember seeing them during your last shopping trip, you will now find all four varieties in the frozen aisle. My first impression was that they have a great variety and the portions are perfect for my kids.
The best part about KRAFT Macaroni & Cheese Frozen Dinners is that they are easy to prepare and require very little prep. All that you and your child need to do is heat them up in the microwave oven, allow them to cool and then enjoy! Each variety includes the mac and cheese that your child knows and loves paired with a protein and a fruit or veggie. The four varieties are: KRAFT Macaroni & Cheese with Whole Wheat Chicken Nuggets and Broccoli, KRAFT Macaroni & Cheese with Grilled BBQ Chicken and Carrots, KRAFT Macaroni & Cheese with Chicken & Beef Meatballs and Apples, and KRAFT Macaroni & Cheese with Roasted Chicken and Broccoli.
While I would love to be that super mom every night that is making meals from scratch and creating Instagram worthy plates for her family… that’s just not realistic. There are far more things I would rather be spending my time doing… like slowing down for a moment and talking to my kids about their day while they enjoy their KRAFT Macaroni & Cheese Frozen Dinners.
There is no guilt whatsoever when serving KRAFT Macaroni & Cheese Frozen Dinners like the KRAFT Macaroni & Cheese with Chicken & Beef Meatballs and Apples because they do not contain artificial flavors, colors or preservatives. These dinners are actually foods that my children have loved and enjoyed for many years and it’s so nice to know that I have a quick and simple way to prepare it for them.
Life with kids is crazy and we often forget to slow down and enjoy it. I love that KRAFT Macaroni & Cheese Frozen Dinners provides such a simple solution to the weekday madness and that when I find myself short on time, I can still provide my children with a nutritious option!
Now I don’t know about you but my children always come home from school hungry. These meals have been the perfect solution. Both of my big kids walk through the door after school asking for one, especially the KRAFT Macaroni & Cheese with Chicken & Beef Meatballs and Apples.
Let me know in the comment section below if you have had the opportunity to try the new KRAFT Macaroni & Cheese Frozen Dinners and what your kid(s) thought. How has this allowed you to slow down and spend more time with your kids during dinnertime?
