My Review

My three month old baby girl has recently begun teething and inevitably, almost anything she can get her little hands on goes right to her mouth. With so many children items recalled these past few years due to being exposed to lead, I am more vigilant than ever to ensure we only purchase the safest baby toys. Baby toys that I know are free from harsh chemicals and I can be rest assured that my daughter will be safe when she puts them in her mouth. I was recently introduced to the beautiful Estella Rattles Collection and instantly fell in love with them. I am not overly fond of cheap plastic baby toys with all the bells and whistles. I find simple and well crafted baby toys to be much more appeasing than the baby toy with a half dozen buttons and blinking lights.

These hand knitted rattles are so elegant and were hand made with much precision and care. Estella prides is manufacturing their items in a factory where employees are treated and paid well. In return these rattles are hand crafted by happy employees whom take pride and joy in their work. As a result you are provided with an exceptional product that wasn’t quickly put together by a machine, but meticulously created, by hand, from a person that puts much time and effort into their work. It is clear just from observing these rattles that they are well made, there is not a single flaw on either of the ones we received for review.

Both rattles are extremely soft and very easy for my three month old daughter to grip and hold onto. Just a slight shake of her hand and the little bell within the rattle lets out a gentle jingle. She spent the past few afternoons “chewing” on these rattles and it was great that she was able to do it all on her own. Typically I have to hold a teething toy for her, but she had no trouble holding them herself since they are very light in weight.
