My Review

So many exciting events have occurred in our family these past few months! Two of the major events would be my daughter starting third grade and welcoming our new baby girl into the world. My four year old son is really close with his older sister, they are inseparable when she is at home, so it’s been really difficult for him since she started school back up. Not to mention a lot of my time is being spent caring for a newborn, so it’s been quite tricky trying to get my son to sit down with me and do preschool work. I feel like our one-on-one time together is so limited and I spend the entire time trying to get him entertained while I gather supplies and projects for us to do. Before I know it the baby is crying, my son has spilled his drink all over the floor and the phone is ringing… If only I had someone to do all the prep work for me so I can get right to working on learning projects/games with my son! If this is something you struggle with then you are in the right place because I have recently discovered a wonderful subscription box service! Kidable Adventures offers a Little Thinkers box that is packed full of age appropriate learning games for your preschool aged child. There are a variety of fun crafts, games and stories to peak your child’s interest while encouraging them fully engage in learning.

What I especially love about this box is that everything is ready to go, there is no prep work, and we can get started on the activity right away. This has been so great for my son and I, as we can spend the entire time together working on the activities and I don’t feel rushed.

This months Little Thinker box featured activities and crafts revolved around the ocean. Matching, patters and color games are a few of his most favorite games to play, so I was very delighted to see them included in the box.

There is no need to head to the library and find books suitable for the ocean theme because Kidable Adventures includes one for you! My son has recently shown a strong interest in writing his letters and we use the dry erase board daily with him. There were some great material in the box that allowed me to work with him even more on helping him to recognize his letters, as well as write them out by tracing the words.

All of the games included in the box can be used time and time again, my son plays this patterns game all of the time and just loves it!

It is so rewarding to see your child truly enjoy a learning game and watching them beg you to play it again!

I was told years ago from a preschool teacher that having your preschooler work with the 3D stickers was an excellent activity for them, so I always have a bunch in my craft closet. My son was delighted to see that he had all of the materials to create his very own ocean adventure and got working on it right away. He must have spent a good hour working on his masterpiece and as you can tell from the images below, he was very proud of the finished project!

My son also enjoyed creating this adorable “f” fish, which was very sturdy and something we could continue to use every time we work on ocean themed crafts.

We finished the Little Thinker box with this fabulous fish craft, which my son had so much fun making and hung it proudly on the refrigerator! My son had a blast with this box and there wasn’t a single activity he didn’t enjoy or find no interest in. Evey single thing about this box intrigues him and grasped his curiosity, resulting in a really fun afternoon for the both of us. Thanks to Kideable Adventures for making providing us with that special time together!
