How To Throw The Ultimate Taco Night

How To Throw The Ultimate Taco Night #PublixFiesta

Our family absolutely loves tacos and we enjoy them at least once a week, it’s one of those meals that never grows old. What’s great about tacos is that you can change up so many of the ingredients so you’re not eating the same boring taco every time. You can experiment and have fun with a variety of seasonings and ingredients, you can even change what type of taco you use. We stopped by Walmart for our favorite Old El Paso products, they have come out with this really great new kit called, which includes nacho cheese flavored taco shells. I have to admit that at first I was a bit hesitant about these new taco shells, but let me tell you… I am so thankful I took a leap of faith and tried them out. They are surprisingly delicious and really spice up your taco. My kids were especially fond of them and that is always a huge plus in my book!

The best way to throw the ultimate taco night is to allow your family and guests to choose their own fillings… and give them plenty of options! Lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, and taco sauce are always per usual. But add some Greek yogurt (in place of sour cream), refried beans and avocados and you have yourself the perfect set up for taco night. I am a completely obsessed with avocados and they are always the perfect addition to any meal. Is there a fruit more versatile than the avocado? You can slice it, dice it, smash it, or serve it whole. It tastes great at breakfast, lunch, and dinner, or as a satisfying snack any time of day. And the best part is, you get the same nutritional boost whether you serve it on a sandwich, mix it into a dip, blend it into a smoothie, or eat it all by itself. In fact, avocados are so popular at parties and festivities that people across the United States enjoy more than 1.3 billion pounds of avocados per year! That is a lot of fellow avocado fans out there!
