Let me take you back nine years, I was about six months pregnant and on my way to meet with a lady whom was giving away kittens. I remember the first time a laid eyes on Tiger, she was underweight, petite, fluffy and full of the most adorable cries. I was instantly in love with that sweet striped face. It wasn’t even 24 hours later that we had her at the vet being treated for worms and ear mites, followed by weeks of fattening up the pour malnourished kitten. It was very evident that she was not properly cared for, nor was she ready to leave her mother. During the next three months, Tiger found a safe place on top of my pregnant belly and I watched both her and my belly grow. After months of being spoiled and essentially giving me a small taste of motherhood, we finally brought home our new baby girl. The two bonded right away, both still trying to understand this strange new world. They spent the next eight years practically inseparable and always by each others side.
There is no one in our home that our cat loves more than my oldest daughter, Skye. Tiger will mope around all day long while my daughter is at school and as soon as she gets home, runs up and gives her a kiss. At the end of the day, she will pace around the house waiting for Skye to go to bed and once she does, Tiger will jump onto her pillow and fall soundly asleep. They truly are the most adorable pair and I am so thankful that Tiger was brought into our lives. She has such a unique personality, friends and family agree with us when we say that she has the soul of a dog. She is so incredibly social and greets us every time we come home. In turn, we can’t help but spoil her with fun toys and delicious treats. We also have a Thanksgiving tradition which consist of Tiger getting her very own plate of Turkey and mashed potatoes.
A few weeks ago, our dearest Tiger escaped out a window and returned home that day with a horrible injury to her leg. After a trip to the emergency vet and hours of care, it was determined that she had been attacked and bitten by another animal. This was one of the saddest events we have ever gone through with Tiger and my heart was so broken for my daughter. When Tiger was finally home and resting, their moment of reuniting was full of so many emotions. My daughter had been hysterical and incredibly worried about Tiger’s well being while at the vets, being together once again was a huge sense of relief. Skye spent the next week helping me care for her with hours of snuggling and carrying her to the food dish and litter box. I am happy to report that Tiger’s recovery is going exceptionally well and she is almost completely back to her old self again!
Feeding our dearest Tiger the best indoor formula of cat food has always been something that I’ve made top priority. I want to make sure that she is getting the proper nutrition, especially now that she is in recovery. I was recently introduced to the new GOODLIFE™ Dry Cat Food and immediately visited my local Walmart store to grab Tiger a bag. As you can see from the image below, there is a variety of cat foods available, ensuring you get the right formula for your cat’s needs. My first impression, upon visiting Walmart, is that this must be a very popular brand of cat food because most of the bags in the front were gone. I actually had to have an employee get a ladder because the last bag of indoor formula was too far out of my reach. This is a clear indication that cat owner’s are loving the GOODLIFE™ Dry Cat Food and buying it right up!
The GOODLIFE™ Dry Cat Food contains high quality ingredients that you typically only find in the more expensive brands of cat food. The recipes also include calcium (for strong teeth and bones) and nutrients to support healthy skin and a shiny coat, all features that will ensure that my cat’s food will help her to maintain a healthy indoor cat diet. The cat food will also never include corn, soy or wheat!
With such a wholesome and healthy recipe, it couldn’t possibly be delicious as well… or could it? There is only one that could give the GOODLIFE™ Dry Cat Food the ultimate taste test and that would be Tiger. I think it is safe to say, from the pictures below, that she would most defiantly give this cat food two paws up! I must have taken two dozen photos and was only able to get her to look up at me a single time. She cleared that plate of food in record time! It is so reassuring to know that my cat loves a food that provides so many health benefits for her. I want our cat to stay as happy and healthy as she possibly can and GOODLIFE™ Dry Cat Food has truly helped to accomplish that.
I hope you enjoyed my #goodlifepet blog post, I would love to know how you help to keep your beloved cat happy and healthy!
