Easy Garden Project For Kids
This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Miracle-Gro for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.
One of my very favorite activities is doing garden projects with my children! There is nothing more rewarding than putting dirt and seeds together and then seeing your child’s face light up when they discover that their seeds have sprouted. As a busy mother of two, I understand how valuable your time is and that you can’t always commit to a full grown garden. I am also aware that not everyone (including myself) has the resources to grow a garden in their backyard. Whatever the reasoning may be, there are many options out there to start a gardening project that is simple and manageable. I have put together a very simple, easy and fun gardening craft for you to do with your child. The one I am going to share with you today requires very little material and a whole lot of fun! Here is a step by step guide to help you with your gardening project.
Materials Needed
Ceramic Flower Pots
Paint Supplies
Seeds

Your first step is letting your child decorate their flower pots however they like.
My children love getting messy with the paint, so we went ahead and made hand prints on their flower pots.
You could also try sponge painting them, that is always a simple idea and it makes your art work look fantastic!
Next you are going to want to fill the pots about 2/3 of the way with the Moisture Control Potting Mix.
Let your child place their seeds into the dirt and cover them up with more potting mix.
Give your seeds some water and they are ready for a sunny spot.
Before you know if, they will sprout and your child will get to discover the amazing process of photosynthesis!
