Choose To Be Nice!
A special thanks to the Choose To Be Nice website for providing me with a free shirt to review on my blog!
“Choose To Be Nice is a long time coming! Dina Creiger, Founder, kicked around the crazy idea of encouraging and inspiring kindness for a couple of years. An unexpected tragedy, the Boston Marathon Bombings, compelled her to finally move forward. Since that awful day Dina hasn’t stopped thinking about how the world truly is ready for Choose To Be Nice, a dedication to inspiring and encouraging kindness. After all, even in today’s fast-paced, sometimes impersonal world, you still catch more flies with honey than vinegar.”
“The mission of Choose To Be Nice is very simple. We want to inspire, promote and encourage kindness whenever and wherever possible.”
“We’re looking for a million people who want to make the world a better place and to help spread our message. When you wear a Choose To Be Nice t-shirt, you’ll notice right away that your interactions with others are more positive and more meaningful. Let us know what you experience when you wear your shirt! I was so happy to be apart of such an amazing cause that spreads awareness on a simple concept… being nice! Being nice may sound easy, but I have run into a few people at the grocery store today that make me think otherwise. Wearing this shirt reminds me that just because someone else may be having a bad day, that doesn’t mean I have to choose not to be nice. What if that person even acts rude and unkind? Who is to say that by me acting nice in return may be all that person needed. What if!? I will tell you one thing though, there are a million reasons to choose to be nice that result it such amazing things compared to the alternative. Being nice is like a domino effect and if I have the chance to put a smile on one person’s face, there is a possibility that they put a smile on another person’s face… and so on! Choosing to be nice is the most simplest way to pay it forward. Imagine all the good we could do if more people would choose to be nice. I am glad to have discovered this great cause and hope that I have inspired you to take part!
