Breakfast can get so repetitive and boring… eating the same predictable foods each morning. I have found that the best way to shake things up in the morning is to try something new. I am delighted to share with you how we as a family bring fun back to the breakfast table with Star Wars cereal! Don’t you remember those days when kids sat down at the table in the morning and all they needed was the box to keep them entertained during breakfast? Well the new Star Wars Cereal does just that! The delicious and exciting Star Wars cereal gets your kids (young and old) excited for breakfast. From my 11 month old baby girl… all the way to my 9 year old, each of my children has greatly enjoyed breakfast with Star Wars these past few days!

 Star Wars Cereal is a delicious fruity flavored cereal with character themed marshmallows speckled throughout your child’s breakfast bowl. There are currently two limited edition package designs for your family to choose from and beginning June 1st, Star Wars Cereal can be found in most major retailers and grocery stores across the country. This cereal contains whole grains and is not made with high fructose corn syrup. Star Wars cereal is a great source of calcium and vitamin D, and only has 9g of sugar per serving. The corn pieces are in three fun shapes; TIE Fighter, X-Wing Starfighter, Millenium Falcon and those adorable marshmallows “Marbits” you see throughout the cereal come in six fun shapes:

• Yoda (green)
• R2-D2 (blue and white)
• Jedi Fighter (pink/red)
• Stormtrooper (white)
• Lightsaber (blue)
• Lightsaber (red)

My two older children really enjoy the Yoda Package which has a quiz on the back for fans to test their Star Wars knowledge. They are also incredibly fond of the Darth Vader Package where there is a board game on the back of the package for children to play as they enjoy their delicious cereal. While the cereal boxes featured in this post contain the words “Limited Edition Box” this only references the package design, which will change over time as the franchise and characters continue to evolve. So no need to worry about the actual cereal not being available! You will have the opportunity to collect 6 limited edition boxes featuring different characters between June 2015 and June 2016. The boxes will be released in pairs and each will feature a “light side” and “dark side” character. Just a little heads up… the first two package designs for Star Wars Cereal that will be released in June feature Yoda (light side character) and Darth Vader (dark side character)…. does that not get you excited for breakfast time!?
