 About Blooming Bath

Eric Devericks was a professional cartoonist. Brian Pond designed golf putters. David Morelock loved to surf. And Tom Morris was a proud geek. The four friends couldn’t have been more different. But they all had one thing in common: They were dads — and they prided themselves on being good ones. Change a diaper? No sweat. Soothe a screaming newborn? Right away. Pull a splinter? Kiss a boo-boo? Laugh at really bad knock-knock jokes? Of course. But there was another thing they had in common — experience with a chore that really shouldn’t be a chore. “When your baby’s so soapy and slippery and squirmy and when you’re trying to bend over a tub or keep them in place in the sink — frankly, it just takes a lot of the enjoyment out of a moment that should be such a great time,” Morelock said. Together, the four fathers co-founded the new company. And after more than a year of hard work, they rolled out their first product: Blooming Bath. The flower-shaped bath pillow conforms to the shape of any sink — and keeps those little wiggle worms right where they belong. It’s durable, easy to clean and unbelievably adorable.

Product Description

“Handmade from incredibly soft, cuddly materials, Blooming Bath’s petals hug any sink to create an adorable, safe, fun and convenient bath time experience for your most precious possession. Blooming Bath’s plush materials cradle and cushion your baby like no other baby tub can. Forget about those hard plastic baby bath tubs or baby bath seats that are uncomfortable and don’t cradle your child during bath time. It’s a unique, easy, hassle-free experience that allows you to enjoy those special moments bathing your infant. Using and caring for Blooming Bath couldn’t be easier. Push it into your sink and it creates the perfect cushioned cradle to wash your baby. When you’re finished, gently squeeze out the excess water and throw it in the dryer for 10 to 15 minutes. Or, if you prefer, just use the hang tag on the back — your Blooming Bath will be dry in no time.”

 My Review

One of the most exciting things about being pregnant with baby number three is seeing how excited my first to children are to help out with the new baby. They have spent a lot of time this month going through the baby’s stuff and practicing with baby dolls. They are so enthusiastic about helping when the baby arrives and I just know I am going to have two of the best helpers ever. As my memory recalls, bath time wasn’t always the most fond experience for my children when they were newborns. There are so many things you must worry about in order to keep your baby happy and content during baths and I can’t imagine trying to add two siblings to the mix. However, the Blooming Bath has officially put all my worries aside and I am greatly looking forward to stress free bathing with the new baby and helpful siblings. Unlike those slippery plastic baby baths, the Blooming Bath offers a soft and comforting place for your baby to relax. Placed in the kitchen sink, this will be the perfect way for my children to gather around and take turns washing the baby. Because the Blooming Bath cradles your baby and keeps them safe and secure, I can spend more time focusing on bonding with my family and less time adjusting the baby.

The fabric is so incredibly soft and cushiony, unlike any bath I have ever used before! You would think it would be a hassle dealing with this bath after it gets wet, but it isn’t one bit. Just like a kitchen sponge, you can squeeze out the water and leave it on the counter for a short time to let it air dry. I was very impressed with how convenient and easy cleanup was and that the Blooming Bath dries rather quickly.

Overall I am very impressed with the Blooming Bath and am so delighted to have had the opportunity to share a review with you. I truly believe that this is a must have baby product, especially if there are younger siblings. This bath is going to provide the ideal bathing experience for your baby and younger siblings are going to be so happy that they can help clean their new baby brother/sister. I can also see this being the perfect baby shower gift and will most certainly put a huge smile on every expectant mother’s face! The Blooming Bath is available in a variety of gorgeous colors and they even offer some adorable accessories.

  1. Not only is this incredibly cute, but I just love the idea of such a soft bath. I just know baby would be super comfortable in it, and I wouldn’t have to worry about her hitting her tiny little limbs on hard plastic like traditional baby baths. Would love to have this for my newborn daughter!

  11. I have heard so many great things about this product. I really want one of these with my next baby.

  12. I think this is an awesome idea. I do not want to buy one of those bulky portable bathtubs for newborn and small infants and this would be a perfect space saver and it dries quickly?!? How awesome is that. I have always just used folded up hand towels to pad the sink but they are a pain to squeeze out and dry.

  13. The Blooming bath is such a Wonderful Product for Babies Bathes. It definitely is more comfortable for baby and a lot more fun. I Think it is one of the Best new products for babies I Love the pretty colors also~~

  14. I so wish I had this for baby #1!! It would have made bathing so much easier, especially during the young newborn stage. I will definitely be putting this on my registry for the next baby…it looks so comfortable too!!

  15. These are so adorable.. Even just after four years there are so many more baby products and so many high tech baby products.. I saw a baby chair bouncer thing the other day with a spot to put in a smart phone for the baby to interact with ! And that’s nothing compared so some of the amazing products you and other mommy bloggers find and review . I just wish I had money for it all .. Even for one thing ! It also makes me want to find a man and have another baby lol !

  16. Great post and reviews. I really love this post. One of our best purchases! When she was a newborn it was difficult in the sink because she couldn’t hold her head up, so we used it in the baby bath tub which worked great. Now she is 6mo and we have in the sink since 2 mo and it is so nice and simple. I always hang it outside when I am done and if it’s raining I throw it right in the dryer! Love it though

  17. I really like this tub, and wish I had had one when baby was little. I might just have to wrangle this back from my cousin if I ever get the mister to agree to another baby.
