Best EVER Juicy Burgers: Perfect For Your 4th of July BBQ
This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Modern Mom Insider for Hellmann’s. All opinions expressed are 100% mine.
There are a few things in life that simply go together and just aren’t the same when they don’t. Peanut butter with jelly… popcorn at the movies… burgers from the grill on the 4th of July… it just makes sense, right!? Our family is all about firing up the grill on the Fourth of July and cooking up some delicious burgers. I love trying out new recipes so that we can devour the most delicious burgers possible as we celebrate a special holiday. I was recently introduced to the Best Ever Juicy Burgers recipe and must say that the name does not exaggerate! Had I known that a half cup of Hellmann’s mayo would turn my average burgers into the most mouthwatering and scrumptious burgers I have ever consumed… I would have started making them this way a long time ago! So I am here today to inform you of this one ingredient that will change the way you will make your burgers from here on out (you can thank me later, haha!)
So what exactly will you need to recreate this delicious juicy burger above? Not a whole lot and that’s what I love about it! I am a simple girl, a master cook is far from my title, so any recipe that calls for minimal ingredients is a favorite in my book right away. The original recipe requires just five ingredients:
- 1/2 cup Hellmann’s® Real Mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup plain dry bread crumbs
- 1 envelope Lipton® Recipe Secrets® Onion Soup Mix
- 2 lbs. ground beef [or ground turkey]
- 8 hamburger buns
There are also only three steps for you to follow:
- COMBINE Mayonnaise, bread crumbs and Soup Mix in bowl.
- MIX mayonnaise mixture into ground beef; shape into 8 patties.
- GRILL or broil until done. Serve burgers on buns.
It just doesn’t get any more simple than that my friends and you will be amazed at how juicy these burgers turn out. I have always overcooked my burgers a bit, making sure that they are thoroughly cooked so the little kids don’t get sick. This tends to dry the burgers out, but I found that with this new recipe counters that! The whole family devoured the burgers we recently made, leaving behind not a single leftover.
Our family has a few favorite ingredients that we love on our burgers and it has become somewhat of a tradition. Cheddar cheese is an absolute must, for some reason the kids won’t eat them with American cheese so we’ve have made this our official burger cheese. Bacon, lettuce and red onions give the burger a fresh and crisp taste and call me a princess, but I would be lost without these on my burger. Lastly, as if Hellmann’s could not have made this burger any more delicious, a spread of mayo on top is the only condiment I will add to my burger to make it complete. For as long as I can remember I have always favored having mayo on my burgers and my family has agreed with my preference.
So let us know! Did you plan on trying out this recipes for the 4th of July? If so, what ingredients does your family love to add to their burgers… do you have a must have topping that you just can’t go without?
