A few years ago my husband made the brave decision to return to college and earn his accounting degree. I say brave because he is the sole provider for our family and works a full time job, which requires that he travel several times throughout the month. This selfless, hardworking man dedicates countless hours to work, school and his family in order to provide the best he can for his children. How he manages to maintain all A’s while working as much as he does is incredible and I am so thankful to have such an amazing role model in our children’s lives. Because of him I am able to stay home with our children and be their full time caregiver. Words can not begin to express my gratitude towards him… all I can do is try my best to ease the burden in other areas of life, such as the bills. So I ventured off to my local Walmart store with three kids in tote, one of those being my newborn daughter. I was a bit nervous about how I was going to handle signing up for a new wireless service while trying to tend to my three children, but I am always up for a challenge! There were some great rollbacks at Walmart and I was able to purchase a Nokia Lumia 521 (On Rollback from $99.88) for only $69.88! I always do my research when it comes to major purchases and there were excellent reviews when it came to this smartphone. I was in disbelief that I scored such a well rated smartphone for such an affordable price… without having to sign my life away on a two year service agreement. Yes, you read that right! The Walmart Family plan does not require a contract and you can cancel at any time. I was also thrilled to learn that I could purchase my new smartphone and Family Mobile starter kit (a one time purchase) at the store, but activate my phone and set up my plan in the comfort of my home. I was amazed at how simple and convenient the process was and it became even more clear just how perfect of a gift this would be to give a busy college student!

After a hassle free trip to the Walmart Mobile store, I returned home with three happy children and the perfect college gift for my husband. I visited the Walmart Family Mobile website to activate the phone and choose a plan. I went with the unbeatable option of just $34.88 a month for Unlimited Talk, Text, and Web. That is such an amazing price and service for a busy college student, worker and father that is on the go and trying to stay connected with coworkers and family.
