I have suffered through acne and breakouts since my teen years and it has comes back to haunt me through three pregnancies. With age I have seen a decrease in outbreaks but there is still that pesky one time of the month where many women begin to break out. I am always so very insecure and self conscious during that monthly breakout session. Another insecurity of mine is how oily and greasy my face gets throughout the day. I feel like I am caught in a cycle where I am having to reapply makeup to my face all day to control the shine, yet clogging my pores and causing acne. I have been stuck in a rut with my nightly face washing routine and was ready to try something new and hopefully effective. I recently had the opportunity to test out Exposed Skin Care, which claims to clear your skin in 30 days! This skin care collection is suppose to help eliminate acne bacteria, control oil, calm redness and inflammation, unclog pores and renew your skin.
Your first step towards achieving healthier and clearer skin with Exposed Skin Care is to dedicate yourself to the following steps and routine:
- Wash your face twice a day to prevent acne. You should use a light, gentle cleanser for your acne treatment. This will prevent a build-up of dirt and help keep pores clear. However, don’t wash your face too much as it leads to more dead skin cells and clogged pores, which can cause acne.
- Clear your skin pores of dead skin cells to prevent further development of acne. Use an acne treatment product containing salicylic acid, this will clear your pores and help prevent clogging.
- Apply a topical acne treatment that contains benzoyl peroxide. Benzoyl peroxide therapy will combat acne causing bacteria and help prevent further outbreaks of acne. Be aware that this can dry your skin slightly so a moisturizer may be necessary.
- Avoid touching your face, which can spread acne bacteria and cause pimples and blackheads to spread. You should also try to not pop your pimples, as well as spreading bacteria it can also leave acne scars.
I had the opportunity to try these products this past month and I am so pleased with the results! The products have not been harsh or damaging to my skin, while many products I have tried in the past have been. The overall health of my skin has improved and it truly feels clean with every wash. I have really been trying to achieve a more even skin tone, which these products have successfully helped me with. I am literally using a fraction of the makeup that I normally use because I am not reapplying as much throughout the day… or putting on as much in the morning! Most importantly, I am feeling more confident as my skin hasn’t looked this clear and vibrant in quite some time. I am telling you right now, don’t waste your money on the drug store products, grab the Exposed Skin Care kit today and take the first steps towards achieving clear skin!
