4 Important Phone Numbers You Should Have Saved

Not having a phone number when you need it can be frustrating, and we’re not always in the position to look it up and call it. That’s why it’s so important that you have some of these numbers already saved so that when you need them, you can get in touch almost immediately. You don’t want to be without their number should an emergency occur, so it’s best to have them saved into your contact list. Even if you never have to use them, it could one day save your life!

Family doctor

Not every health concern you experience is going to warrant a trip to the emergency room, but you should have someone you can talk to if you think your health isn’t what it should be. Having your doctor’s phone number at hand can benefit you in 2 ways. Your doctor can be more aware of your overall health, and you’ll have a number ready to call if you ever have questions about your health.

A locksmith

Getting locked out of your home can be a pain, and it typically happens after you’ve come back from work. No one wants to have to deal with being locked out of their home for hours with no way of getting back in – especially if getting in means damaging your door. Instead, it would be a great idea to have the number of a 24 hour locksmith ready and at hand so you can call up and get back into your home as quickly as possible. It saves you from having to wait outside your home for someone else with a key to show up, and you won’t have to break the lock on your door.

Your power company

Experiencing power cuts is never fun, but it becomes even less fun knowing that you’re going to have to wait until morning to call them. Having their number saved to your phone means you can make the call to them as soon as your power has gone out, and you won’t need to look it up online to get more information. The problem might be consistent in your area, or it may just be your own personal power – either way, it doesn’t hurt to have their number saved and ready to be called.

Your boss

You never know what might come up while you’re on the way to work, or getting ready to leave. Oftentimes, when it comes to work, time is of the essence – which means that every second spent not calling about an emergency, is a second wasted! Having your boss’ number on your phone means you can reach out to them as soon as you notice you’re going to be late can save both of you time.

Alternatively, leaving your boss without any explanation or call can cause difficulties at work, so without your boss’ number, you’re going to find it difficult to get in touch when you’re unable to make it to work on time.
